1: HALO ILLUMINATION
Suerly the best location EVER for Halo Illumination!
Halo illumination gives a dramatic and sophisticated look to your sign. The letters are built-up, therefore hollow, and the LEDs are wired into the cavity inside the letter. The back of the letter is generally sealed with a translucent lens that will allow light to pass through. This in turn illuminates only the area behind the letter, creating a ‘halo’ of light around it. This gives a very eye-catching and appealing visual dynamic especially on a dull day or in the late evening. White is the most popular choice, but as with all LEDs, there is a selection of colours to choose from. The intensity of the light can be controlled with a dimmer switch to create a more subtle effect.
For outdoor use, halo illumination is very popular in the retail and hospitality sectors in hotels, bars and restaurants, but when used indoors, it creates a totally unique ambiance. Halo illuminated letters are always sure to leave a lasting impression!
2: FACELIT ILLUMINATED LETTERING
As the name suggests, this option gives you lettering that is fully illuminated on the front. No light is emitted from the back of the letter. Instaead, the front face of the letter is cut from tranlucent acrylic which diffuses the light and allows it to shine through brightly. The letters are built the very same way as halo letters, with built-up aluminium sides, and the LED lighting contained within. All components are cut on our CNC or laser machines which ensures 100% precision.
Face illumination is a great option in any larger letter, but the main benefit is that the strength of the illumination makes them highly visible especially from a distance. Facelit letters also make a very attractive option in internal applications and are frequently seen used by a variety of retailers in shopping centres and other busy locations such as airports.
Another largely unknown aspect of face illuminated letters is the day/night option. 3: FACE ILLUMINATED LETTERS INTEGRATED INTO YOUR SIGN OR SHOPFRONT
This option involves the construction of a full shopfront fascia. To fabricate the fascia, a box is fabricated from engineering-grade composite sheets. These are sheets with a PVC core and an aluminium skin on each side. They come in a selection of colours with a perfect gloss or satin finish. The letters are cut and removed from the fascia and they are replaced with translucent acrylic which allows light to pass through. In short, it is an illuminated box where the light can only illuminate the letters which are fully integrated with the fascia
4: LIGHTBOX SIGNS
Lightbox signs are really good for illuminating everything from text to complex graphics and imagery. They can be built to any size. They consist of a fabricated box, illuminated with LEDs and have a fully translucent cover. Thae face of the sign can be made fron fabric, banner material or opal acrylic depending on the location and application, and all illuminate brilliantly.
